Parade Registration

Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2008 Pride Parade. The parade will take place Saturday, July 12, 2008. Please complete this form to reserve your spot in the parade line-up. There is no mandatory fee for participation, but we do ask for a $25 donation to help offset our costs.

Terms & Submission

By filling out this form and submitting it, you agree that you and the members of your group have discussed and understand the following guidelines and agree to follow them:

  • 1. When planning your entry, please consider the theme, the diversity of the community, and the audience along the route. This year's Pride theme is "Diversity"
  • 2. The Pride Vermont Committee does not endorse or encourage illegal, discriminatory or homophobic behavior by anyone participating in the parade or festival. Additionally, the Committee does not support any attempt to censor individuals' freedom of speech or expression as long as it does not infringe on the rights of others. The Pride Vermont Committee are the permit holders for the parade and reserve the right to deny to march and/or register any group or individual who may be considered unacceptable to march by rules of such permit and the community. If illegal activities ensues, the Pride Vermont Committee reserves the right to eject any participants not in complience with state and local laws.
  • 3. All drivers must be duly licensed, show vaild driver's license and show current car insurance on the parade vehicle.
  • 4. Participants are reminded that local and state laws prohibit open or closed alcohol containers along the parade route.
  • 5. No solicitation or money is permitted along the parade route.
  • 6. You are prohibited from throwing ANYTHING from the parade route.
  • 7. You will be contacted by phone and/or email for parade line-up instructions, parade route and Pride updates.
  • 8. Please note that due to city regulations, Pride Vermont may require additional paperwork from parade participants.
